Knockout Tournaments

Updated this week

There are two types of knockout schemes:

  1. Standard Knockout: The player receives the full knockout prize for eliminating another player.

  2. Progressive Knockout: A portion of the knockout prize is awarded to the player for eliminating someone (typically 50%), while the remaining part is added to that player’s bounty. The more opponents they eliminate, the higher the bounty on their own head, making them a bigger target.

Example:

  • Starting bounty per player: $10

  • Bounty percentage awarded: 50%

Process:

  • Player1 knocks out Player2 and receives a $5 reward. Player1’s bounty increases to $15.

  • Player3 knocks out Player1, earning a reward of $7.5. Player3’s bounty becomes $17.5.
