Common reasons as to why your crypto deposit is missing

Updated over a week ago

You can check the status of your deposit transaction here.

See below common reasons as to why your crypto deposit is missing:

Incorrect address

  • If you have sent the transaction to the wrong address, contact the recipient.

  • If you don't know the owner of the address, there's no way to retrieve the funds.

Incorrect coin/network

  • Stake only accepts specific coins and networks for deposits.

  • Transactions of non-accepted coins or coins sent via the wrong network will not be credited.

  • Tips to avoid these errors:

    • Double-check the blockchain network.

    • Ensure coin compatibility with the platform.

    • Send a small test amount first.

    • Copy and paste or scan the QR code for the crypto address.

    • Carefully review everything before sending, as blockchain transactions are usually irreversible.

Incorrect tag/memo

  • Cryptocurrencies like EOS/XRP require both the correct address and a MEMO/TAG to credit funds to the Stake balance. If a mistake occurs, contact live support to initiate the recovery process.

Transaction fees

  • All cryptocurrencies require a transaction fee to be paid for the transaction to be processed.

  • If the fee you've provided is too low, the transaction may take longer to be confirmed and processed by the network.

Pending deposits

  • Transaction status can be checked under the notification button or transaction history.

  • Confirmation by miners is necessary before funds are credited to your Stake balance.
