What does it mean when a bet is voided?
What does it mean when a bet is voided?
Updated over a week ago

When a bet is voided, the odds provider settles it with odds of x1, essentially returning the wagered amount to your account. Various reasons can lead to a void settlement:

Match cancellation/abandonment:

If a match is canceled or abandoned before completion, all bets placed on that match are generally voided.

No clear winner:

In certain markets, such as Draw No Bet, where a match ends in a tie with no clear winner, bets on that market may be voided.

Undecided market:

If a market's outcome is not determined by the end of the match, for example, if a player retires or a game is interrupted and not resumed, the bets on that market may be voided.

Incorrect offer:

The odds provider may void bets placed on incorrect offers as outlined in the sportsbook rules. This is a rare occurrence, but if it happens, all affected bets will be voided regardless of the potential outcome if the offer were correct.

Multi-bets:

In a multi-bet, if one selection is voided, only that leg is settled with odds of x1. If you win the remaining selections, you will be paid out based on their respective odds.

Same-game multi-bets:

If any selection from that bet slip is voided, the entire bet slip will be voided. This is because such bets are placed on custom-created markets using multiple selections from the same match.
