How do Asian Totals work?
How do Asian Totals work?
Updated over 2 months ago

With the Asian Total market you can place a bet on the total number of goals, points or runs in the match by selecting Over or Under based on the line offered.

We will use a soccer match offer as an example where you are betting on the total number of goals scored by the teams combined.

A bet for half lines (0.5):

You need more or fewer goals scored, depending on your choice. You can either win or lose the bet.

A bet on over 2.5 goals at x1.78 odds:

This means you need at least 3 goals scored in the match to win.

A bet on under 2.5 goals at x1.78 odds:

This means you need up to 2 goals to win the bet.

A bet for whole number lines at x1.78 odds:

This means that bets are void if the total number of goals scored is equal to the line offered.

A bet on over/under 3 goals:

This will be declared as void if the match ends with exactly 3 goals scored (resulting in odds of x1).

To win a bet on the over selection:

At least 4 goals must be scored in the match.

To win a bet on the under selection:

A maximum of 2 goals must be scored in the match.

Quarter line bets:

Quarter lines (.25/.75) is when your wagered amount is split in half between the nearest whole and half market lines. The outcome of both halves of your bet determines the final settlement, which can result in a Win, Half Win, Half Loss, or Loss.

Example:

A $10 bet on the Over 2.75 line at x2.30 odds will be fully won if at least 4 goals are scored during the game. In this case, $5 is placed on the Over 2.5 line and $5 on the Over 3 line.

However, if exactly 3 goals are scored, one half of your bet wins, and the other half is voided, resulting in a Half Win settlement. At the time of settlement, the new odds would be x1.65.
