1. Prepare your identity document: Ensure that your identity document is clean and free of any glare or shadows. Place it on a flat surface where it will remain stable during the selfie process.
2. Position yourself and the document: Stand in front of a well-lit background, preferably with natural light. Hold your identity document in one hand, ensuring that all relevant information is visible.
See below additional tips to make sure you have completed all requirements:
1. Avoid using flash as it can create glare and reflections on the identity document.
2. Hold your ID in one hand next to your face without covering your face with it so we can clearly see both your face and the ID.
3. Make sure to look straight at the camera.
4. Avoid wearing any accessories (e.g. sunglasses, a hat, headband, glasses).
5. Keep your hand steady to prevent blurry images.
6. The document cannot be flipped or mirrored to maintain the text in the correct orientation.
7. The photo must be in colour and high resolution.
