What is 2FA?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Stake account by securing logins, withdrawals, tips, and all transactions involving sending funds, and protecting your account from unauthorised access.
How to set up 2FA?
1. You’ll need to install a 2FA app on your device.
2. On your Stake account, go to your Settings > Security page to link your device
3. Copy the string provided into the 2FA app or simply use the QR code shown
4. Next, you will be required to enter the code generated on the app into the field on your security settings page. The code will only be active for 30 seconds before a new one is generated.
5. You will be sent an email in which there will be a link that will finally enable 2FA on your account.
To ensure the security of your account, it is crucial that you never share your QR Code or the accompanying string with anyone. Doing so could potentially allow them unauthorised access to your account.
